Olooseos Clinic Panel Member
In March of this year (2009), I was selected by our
community to be on a panel that would head the development and
promotion of Olooseos maternity clinic! This was indeed a great
honor, and since my return home at the end of March, I have sat
in several meetings geared towards the re-establishment of this
clinic as a place for Maasai women who have limited or no resources,
to give birth.
Here we are seen at one of our most recent meetings in which
it was decided that children under the age of five years would
no longer be expected to pay for treatment of minor ailments!
Adults on the other hand would pay slightly higher fees at
the outpatient clinical area of the clinic!
We welcome any assistance to support this initiative.
